Things will feel a little different due to the measures we have implemented to keep everyone safe.
Payment:
We will use the card details provided to take full payment on your arrival date, unless you tell us that you wish to use an alternative card or have already paid an online agent.
Parking:
If you are travelling by car, we will let you know where to park before you arrive.
Check-in:
We will contact you to agree a check-in time, if we have not already agreed one at the time of booking. This is to ensure you do not come into contact with other guests and staff when you check-in.
When you arrive:
the blue door will be pinned back so that you can come into the porch and use the hand sanitiser gel before entering the house.
Face coverings must be worn when you enter the guest house and while you walk through the corridors. If you are exempt, please inform us before arrival.
For safety reasons, we will not be there to greet you.
Your room key and registration paperwork will be waiting for you, unless you have registered online.
Restrictions:
The guest lounge and additional landing toilet will be closed for the duration of your stay. During this time, take away food can be eaten in your room.
From 3rd September the dining room will be open, with strict safety measures in place. The menu will be limited at this time to ensure we have ample time to complete the increased cleaning regimes required to remain Covid safe. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, but your safety is our main priority.
If you have paid for breakfast, we will leave your order forms with your reservation documents. You will be issued with a time to enter the dining room. If you miss your allocated time, you may not be able to have breakfast.
We are asking guests to STOP, LOOK and LISTEN before leaving rooms.
Rooms will not be serviced during your stay but you will be able to order everything you need.
Our usual rules apply in regard to alcohol. We are a quiet, family run guest house and do not accommodate guests who are excessively intoxicated, especially at this difficult time as drunken behaviour will inevitably lead to unnecessary face to face contact which could put our family and other guests at risk. We also ask guests to respect our quiet hours.
From Monday 14 September: it will no longer be legal to meet socially in groups of more than 6. This will apply indoors and outdoors, including in private homes and hospitality settings. Group bookings (more than one room) are currently not being accepted without prior arrangement.
